More and more people have a growing sense of unease that an unspeakable evil is about to be unleashed. Their sense of foreboding is warranted. The world seems to be deliberately torn apart. But why? And by whom?
Jesus, of course, foretold wars, food shortages, pandemics, great earthquakes, and terrifying sights in the heavens, and that these things were merely the beginning pangs of distress. Ultimately, there will be an unparalleled time of distress that Jesus called the “great tribulation.”
Jesus also forewarned that “many false Christs and false prophets will arise and will perform great signs and wonders so as to mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones.” Who is behind these false Christs? Revelation reveals that the two-horned beast will begin speaking as a dragon, meaning it will channel Satan. And what is the two-horned beast out of the earth? It symbolizes the Anglo-American empire after it comes back to life, as if emerging from an earthly grave. Then “it makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first wild beast, whose mortal wound was healed. And it performs great signs, even making fire come down out of heaven to the earth in the sight of mankind.”
What form might these “great signs and wonders” take? It is not possible to know exactly. We do know that the demons possess great power and can empower humans to perform magic. For example, when Moses confronted Pharaoh and performed miracles, Egypt’s magic-practicing priest duplicated the first three wonders.
We know that the “star” that the Persian magi followed across the Arabian desert to Palestine in search of the newborn Messiah was not a star at all, but a heavenly light fabricated by the Devil. Stars do not change course and hover over a specific location. In the time of Job, Satan made fire fall from heaven. Whether it was literal fire or lightning doesn’t matter. Given the recent advances in AI, we must expect that technology will be employed, perhaps using programmable drones and holograms to simulate a divine appearance or aliens from a faraway galaxy.
With all of the talk now about the government supposedly concealing evidence of alien visitations and even harboring aliens in secret locations, like certain Hollywood sci-fi movies, it appears as if Satan is going to stage a fake alien invasion. It is not like it has not happened before. As if to demonstrate the power of the news media to create hysteria, in 1938, Orson Welles created a radio program called War of the Worlds in which a fake news bulletin claimed that Martians had landed in New Jersey. It created quite a panic.
Since then, there has been an ongoing scheme to create a false reality that the US government is concealing the truth about alien invaders.
It seems that the sinister dark powers are setting the stage for a much more convincing alien invasion to add to the terror and confusion. In actuality, the coming time of terror and chaos will not be because space invaders have landed, but because the wicked demon gods have been evicted from heaven and come down in a great rage.
