It seems most timely that this release comes as a rapidly shifting world scene unfolds, and with it mounting issues within the Watchtower organization, no less! Membership numbers are down; litigation is up. Kingdom halls built by brothers and sisters— and dedicated to Jehovah God— have been sold off by the same organization that encouraged the brothers and sisters to build, serving their local area’s needs— yet now serve as cannabis shops, adult stores, and businesses-for-profit. 

The Third Edition, published in 2016, was subtitled “The Final Edition.” Obviously, I had not planned on updating this work. So, why a fourth edition? There are several reasons. Foremost, a lot has transpired in the 10 years since the last edition, both in the world and within the Watchtower organization. Secondly, AI editing is now much more robust, and, to my embarrassment and dismay, I am still finding typos, goofs, and errors in sentence structure and punctuation. Admittedly, it is cosmetic, but I believe little things are important.

The Bible is unique in many ways. It provides a succinct account of the beginning of creation—even the existence of a world that preceded ours in the spirit dimension. From the happy start of Adam and Eve in the garden of pleasure and their tragic expulsion from Eden, through the great Deluge and the confusion of mankind’s original language at Babel, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Bible primarily details God’s dealings with Abraham’s offspring, the Israelites, over the course of 2,000 years, up to the beginning of Christianity.
